Here's an update for anyone who's not still around here in Elk Grove. I know I am pretty good at posting new pictures, but I don't write much---So right now, I'm back here in Elk Grove after a FABULOUS summer in Provo with my 3 best friends! (You can see old pictures with, Alena, Krista, Sarah and myself...from all over Provo/BYU's campus!) I'm back here at CSUS working on my Deaf Studies BA. I'm minoring in Dance and also Teacher Education. By the time I'm done with my BA I'll have my interpreting certificate and eventually I want to get my Teaching Credential so I can teach to Elementary School-age deaf children. Their culture, language and history has always fascinated me, and I've always loved American Sign Language. I'm working still at Elk Grove Dance Center a few hours a week teaching Hip hop. I love it, and I can get my fix of dancing. I also work at Pro-Tech Fire and I'm loving it! Just a regular secretary/receptionist...filings, phone calls, mail, etc. etc. ya know....
I don't have too much else going on--School...Work...Church....I am on the Sac State Institute Council which is a blast! Institute is a big part of my college experience! It's a piece of heaven on earth...honestly! I love being able to serve my peers and those going through the same hardships as I am.
Recently I've started to TRY and teach myself the guitar since I received one for christmas from my cousin!! I love to read...addicted to music...miss my friends--I think I have a theory about all of them being at BYU, BYU-I, or on a mission, but I still try to keep in contact with them as much as possible!
I love being with my family and having a part in very important events in their lives! If you know me, you know that I cannot have a conversation without bringing up some member of my family. Whether it be about the Gale side with Bubba receiving the priesthood and turning 12 two weeks ago, playing basketball and owning the court!...Taylor drawing another "I Love Meme" poster to make me feel like such a role model...Michael singing every song that comes on the radio, or making us all laugh with me trying to teach him ASL...Poor little Joel (cheeky) being sick and how you just wanna squish him!....Reid hugging Molly like there's no tomorrow!....How STINKING ADORABLE our little Sydney-bug is!!!...
.....OR the Spearman side with Greg graduating soon...Brittany receiving a mission call to Meza, Arizona(Spanish speaking)...Hillary getting ready for the wedding in May...Jeremy spending his last couple weeks in England before coming back to the US...Mikal turning 8 and getting baptized pretty soon...or my wonderful little twin cousins and how much I miss seeing them almost every other weekend while I was in UT AND getting so excited for the new twins "coming soon"
OH! I can't get enough of them!!! I LOVE MY FAMILY!
